The name wasiswas refers to the idea that life often repeats itself – what "was," becomes what "is," becomes what "was" once more. A seed, grows into a tree, which produces more seeds. The logo combines the two Ws in wasiswas and displays them as repeating waves, evoking the never-ending waves that journey to Hawaii's shores.
